Act I
Scene I
Setting: A dreary, rainy Tuesday morning. Jeannie and Anne in the office at Heather’s Glen. The morning begins with the usual clickety-click of Anne responding to inquiry emails from brides who have been late evening web-surfing various wedding venue sites the night before. Jeannie herself is web-surfing, but of what content, Anne does not know, nor will she ask until she finishes the emails and her first cup of coffee. Jeannie informs Anne before either task is complete.
Jeannie: I’m thinking about trying Bikram yoga.
Anne: The yoga they do in a heated room and you sweat a lot?
Jeannie: Right.
Anne: That’s funny! Can you imagine?
Jeannie: I’m serious. Let’s go on Thursday morning.
Anne: Do we have to wear shorts?
Jeannie: No.
Anne: Okay.
Warning: The recorded material above has probably been edited and exaggerated for your entertainment purposes.
Well, it went something like that. Evidently, Bikram yoga is one of the (I have to say it) hottest new workouts among brides. Strictly for research purposes only, Jeannie and I will indeed try a 90-minute Bikram yoga session on Thursday morning. Please stay tuned for a follow up blog for guaranteed laughs and information!
