After meeting with the manager of the spa, Suzanne Gibson, at La Colombe D’Or, we knew we wanted to try out their massage services. Below is a “before” picture of the two of us before our Mokara experience. Clearly we are stressed, cranky, and overworked! The moment we walked into the spa we were treated like royalty, and the second we donned our robes we became more relaxed. Heather was treated with a Swedish massage by Elizabeth, whom she highly recommends. My service was an aromatherapy body scrub and deep tissue massage, which I’m still feeling the effects of twenty four hours later! My massage therapist was Evandro, and I definitely recommend him if you’re like me and love a heavy hand! I can’t remember the last time I slept so well! All of the tension in my back had been massaged away, and I’m feeling just as relaxed as I was yesterday immediately after receiving the massage. The services at the spa include facial treatments, supplements, massages, make-up application services, nail care, hair cutting, styling, coloring, and more. If you’re looking for a romantic couples’ package for before you jet out of town on your honeymoon, stay the night at the Omni on your wedding night and schedule the 2-hour Signature Spa Romance Ritual for the morning. I cannot stress enough how delightful and relaxing my experience at the Mokara Spa was, so go make your own appointment! And of course, tell them Anne at Heather’s Glen sent you!
