The Gown After the Wedding: To sell, to keep, to donate?

Hello my darling readers!  Hello my Heather’s Glen brides!  Hello my future Heather’s Glen brides!

I have a question.  What’re my Spring and Summer brides doing with their gowns now that they’re married?  Are you selling it?  Are you keeping it to pass down as an heirloom?  Are you donating it to be auctioned for a good cause, or simply giving it away?  Perhaps having it sewn into a christening gown for a baby?

Or, are you having a “trash the dress” session with your photog?  I wanna see some dresses trashed!  If you’re doing so, let me know.  I’d love to spotlight it!

Also, please check out Brides Against Breast Cancer at www.makingmemories.org.  A generous donation of your gown to the organization makes wonderful things possible.  The gown is resold to brides at a fraction of the cost of a new gown, and the money is used for breast cancer cure research.  A gal gets a gorgeous gown at a bargain, while both of you are contributing to an important cause.  What could be better than that?
