Remember two days shy of two years ago when I wrote about bouquets sans flowers? I just knew you would remember. The post was mostly about button bouquets, but a newer trend has emerged: brooch bouquets. Rather than a traditional wedding shower, a bride will have a “brooch party.” Guests are invited to bring a brooch, which the bride will then have assembled into her bouquet for her wedding day.
If you plan on having one of these parties, be sure to clue your guests in on the theme or color you’re aiming for. If you’re making it yourself, or gathering your own materials, make a day of exploring your favorite resale and antique shops for unique and affordable finds.
